With the days being shorter, the weather being colder and many (fun) events of the season, our bodies and minds can be of short energy supply. This can be a challenging time of year to keep your energy and take time for yourself. You might find yourself skipping a run or yoga class because you don't feel like you have time. It may be more difficult to get out of bed and take time for yourself before work, even if it's just a short run or meditation.
That's why it's so important to preserve your energy by taking those moments for yourself. Do the short fast run (up a hill) and get your body moving. Allow yourself 5-10 minutes to sit and just listen to the sound of your breath. It doesn't have to be long, but allow it to be powerful.
