More than worrying about what presents to buy everyone or what to wear to the next holiday party, this is the season for true compassion and service of others. Take time this week to consider how your service could help others this holiday season. That truly means so many things for different people. Service is caring for those around you and that can come in many different forms. If you are able to donate money, give what you are able. If you are able to donate your time, do so with excitement and joy. If you are able to offer a helping hand or smile at someone that is having a challenging time, then let that be your service. Whatever service means to you, approach it with love and joy.
"Blessed is the servant who loves his brother as much when he is sick and useless as when he is well and an be of service to him. And blessed is he who loves his brother as well when he is afar off as when he is by his side, and who would say nothing behind his back he might not, in love, say before his face."
