We are heading into the thick of the holiday season, which means pie, libations and lots of social outings for a lot of us. This is a time to take note of what you are grateful for and KEEP YOUR PRACTICE! You define what your practice is, but ultimately it means to be mindful of where you are. It doesn't matter if your practice is just to get on your mat for 10 minutes and listen to the sound of your breath or lace up your shoes for a run to clear your mind, either one allows you to be in your body and take note of how you are doing.
Holidays are a great time to be inspired by loved ones and care about those around you, not to make excuses for not listening to yourself and your needs. Take the moments for yourself that will keep you balanced… and then eat pie!
