It's create your own mantra week! The caveat is that it has to be something positive and caring for yourself. Valentine's Day is always filled with love and kindness for those around us, but sometimes we forget to give ourselves that same treatment. This week's mantra is a time to appreciate yourself for the uniqueness that is YOU.
Make sure that your run this week takes on a time of self-love. Try not to constantly compare yourself to others' qualities and attributes in yoga. We are all a work in progress, but perfect just the way we are NOW. It's part of the journey we take on each day. As my teacher used to say, "it is a gift to be able to practice in our own bodies." This is something I remind myself of everyday.
