There is something to be said about mixing up the routine and trying the unknown, but that can be challenging. As creatures of habit and creators of schedules, there is comfort to knowing what comes next and relying on it. When we diverge from the well traversed path we know as life, sometimes our brains can hit the panic button unknowingly. Try something new in your running and yoga practice this week. Slow down or speed up the pace. Try a different route or teacher. Change the distance of your run or length of yoga practice. All while trying not to hit the panic button. Let me know how it goes.
